Description: Do you love making art and also care about making a difference in your community? This week, campers will be “artivists” (artists and activists) and explore various mediums of art (e.g. zines, comics, murals, performing arts) and focus those creations on speaking up about issues that are important to them! This camp will be led in collaboration with Out & About Book Bus - a mobile library full of LGBTQIA+ and gender-inclusive children’s books that aim to increase LGBTQIA+ and gender visibility and joy. All campers will be able to check out and bring back books from the Out & About Book Bus throughout the camp week, and leave camp on Friday with a new book…

This ticket will provide admission for 1 artist (5-11 years old) to attend the event “Art in Action Summer Camp for Elementary Age Children" from Monday, July 6, 2026 to Friday, July 10 for the FULL DAY sessions (9:00 am - 4:00 pm). Remember to pack a snack/lunch & water bottle, dress for the mess, and review our policies & ticket information! Bring in a copy of this ticket (physical or virtual) to camp to verify attendance.
