Description: Spend winter break discovering far away places and the winter celebrations that bring people together! Daily themes are...
- Monday - Explore Sweden and the Scandinavian folk art while creating a Dala horse, paper hearts and winter gnomes too.Â
- Tuesday - Journey to India and the holiday of Diwali as we create paper Diyas, color mandalas, Â design a lantern to hang and paint a canvas with artist, Aratrika Chattaraj.
- Wednesday - Travel to Japan and celebrate the Sounkyo Ice Fall Festival and create art inspired by the coldest elements and learn about the lunar festivals in other parts of Asia.
- Thursday - Dive down under and celebrate a traditional Australian Christmas by making crafts to wrap and give to your loved ones.
- Friday - Welcome the Winter Solstice with a variety of art mediums and techniques as we paint, print, collage, scuplt and reARTcycle our way through the winter break!Â
Additional Info: This camp is for elementary school aged children between 5-11 years old. Remember to dress for a mess and bring a pair of shoes to change into while in the studio! Full day campers please bring in a packed lunch, snack and water bottle. Half day campers bring a water bottle and snack.
