Description: Through spirituality and a constant state of creation, Markus Bean offers many works. They span a range from original acrylic and watercolor Visionary paintings, marker drawings, wall decor, mini paintings, prints, hand painted thrifted goods, polymer clay jewelry and figurines. Markus will also be live painting, and beginning a brand new piece in his current collection, Me and the Moon. Come join and drink tea, chat about your moon sign and pick out your favorite pieces of Markana Art.
Artist Bio: Markus Bean is a transgender disabled Visionary artist living and working from North Mankato, Minnesota. Since his formative years, Markus has turned to creating in effort to express his fantastical pigment-saturated inner realm, which mirrors his innate fascination with Mother Earth and the Cosmos.
Consequently, the overarching theme behind Markus’ art is Nature as Sanctuary. Through painting, Markus invites the viewer to find repose for their souls as they explore the interconnection of the natural, esoteric, and themselves. His work is distinguishable by the vivid color scheme, ethereal luminosity, whimsical details, and nuanced kaleidoscopic composition.
