Description: Capture the beauty and character of Uptown through the vibrant colors of soft pastels! In this relaxed outdoor workshop, we'll gather at a different Uptown location each session to sketch the surrounding architecture, streetscapes, and scenery while learning techniques for working with chalk pastels. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this class is a fun way to slow down, observe, and create in the heart of the city.
Additional Info: This event is for teens and adults aged 13+. Please bring your own sketchpad. If you'd like to build your own art kit for future sessions, an optional supply package is available for $30, which includes a canvas tote bag, sketchbook, and a set of 24 soft pastels.
